I might be considered sort of the rugged individualist type, but I have cerebral and bookish habits. I am somewhat introverted, but love people.
I live in a log cabin that I built myself in Alaska, but wouldn't last a day without my high speed internet to connect to my hobbies (genetic genealogy, family history, world events, travel planning, blogs, etc.)
I read 2 or more books a week (mostly non-fiction audiobooks), and listen to NPR daily.
I have a BS degree (2003) in Molecular Environmental Biology from UC Berkeley, but currently am finding Elementary Education in Alaska to be a more comfortable and edifying career calling.
I am full of both contradictions and consistencies, but at heart I am blessed by nature to have been born a good and moral person. I am attracted to Judaism, and considering conversion. I love to travel and have visited Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Panama, Argentina, Chile, Austria, Japan, Turkey, and Israel.
