About Me
Give me an event to plan, a suspenseful novel, a baseball game to watch (I’ll plead the 5th on my favorite team… that’s the lawyer in me), a Journey or Billy Joel song, or a book of Sudoku, and I’ll probably stay up way past my bedtime. Let’s just say I’m not your average “nice, Jewish girl.” (I do prepare a nice Seder, though, so I guess it all evens out.)
I’m originally from a small town in NY, but I came to Boston for college, and since then, no one’s been able to make me leave! I’ve been a practicing lawyer over the years, and perhaps I’m a glutton for punishment (or just crazy), but I’ll be leaving soon to do something that truly excites me – teaching middle school math. It combines my love of numbers and children, and for that, I can’t wait. Of course, my love for children starts at home with my sons (7 and 10). Watching their innocent faces smile and laugh when we’re in the yard playing catch or watching a movie together (most recently Princess Bride) is the best thing on the planet.
