Taschen books -- Kind of elitist, I know. But for a decent cause...
The desert -- Harsh, beautiful
Bulk section, Whole Foods Market -- Sprouted lentils, sesame seeds, wild rices, and other dry goods brimming from containers. Pens, plastic bags, people hovering around sneaking samples. A kind of mundane spectacle.
