About Me
I recently moved back to Oregon after too many looong winters spent in Alaska. I am very excited to be back -- the opportunities here are almost overwhelming!
I enjoy spending time outdoors doing activities like swimming (when it's warm enough), camping, hiking, and gardening.
Once upon a time I had a pretty courageous streak and would be first in line for bungee jumping and downhill skiing. Age (and intelligence!) has mellowed me out, but once in a while I can still be convinced to go zip lining and get my adrenaline going.
When I'm not outside, I enjoy reading and watching indie films. I bring my outdoor gardening passion indoors as well -- I love orchids and cacti, and someday hope to have a dedicated place in my house for lots of these exotic plants.
I have a three-year old daughter who keeps me very busy. I would, however, like to try to strike more of a balance between play time with her and play time with adults.
