About Me

I am a vibrant, energetic, inquisitive woman who always feels worlds younger than my age. Friends tell me that I am warm, open, sensitive, resourceful, bright, funny and and fun. I'm very appreciative of the gifts of good health and family. After owning a successful business for many years, I sought a career change and now work part-time as a career counselor at a community college. The work is very gratifying! Fitness is important to me! I am a jogger, Pilates practitioner, and gym goer. I have very close relationships with my three incredible adult children (I love being their mother) and I dote on my four "grand" grandchildren. A excellent day includes good coffee, a workout, reading the New York Times (paper version), listening to NPR, and being in touch with family and good friends. I'm awed by the morning sunrise and the evening sky. Though I'm fortunate enough to be self-sufficient and independent, I would love to be with someone who shares my interests, values, and lifestyle. I am urban oriented and enjoy the performing arts, dining out (I am a pescaterian foodie) and life in the city. I'm an at-the-movies movie buff, attend concerts, seek learning, and can easily engage in and relish good conversation.Really enjoy travel and I've taken memorable trips and want to see more of the world, though a long walk in the nearby countryside would delight me, too. The ideal match would be someone who is attractive, really comfortable in his own skin, kind, generous of spirit, upbeat, gentle and a gentleman, romantic (I'm an incurable romantic) with joie de vivre!
