About Me
I am very involved in food policy at work, trying to revitalize small family farms. I have a lot of interests: my children, good food, music, books, movies, animals, physical exercise, and politics. I love to write. I like challenges - both physical and mental. I play my guitar often and participate in a music conservatory. I have travelled extensively and have lived in many parts of the world.
I have a varied background in theology and law. I practiced law for about 15 years in California, left it to work in computer industry, became head of a national scholarship foundation, and now work in food policy matters (biggest challenge yet). I am an idealist grounded in the law and classical studies.
