I just celebrated my 5th anniversary living in Chicago. I moved here from the Twin Cities where I was born and raised for a job that I have since left. I love my work, and my friends, and life in general... when it's above 75. If it gets too much below that then I'm honestly pretty miserable about everything. I complain about it a lot, so I recommend you get to know me while it's warm out.
I can be kind of a homebody, though this year I've been making it a point to spend more time out of the house, or at least in the house with the people I love.
Generally I can be found: shopping. going to the beach. eating. drinking. drinking and eating. shopping. drinking and shopping. going to yoga. going to the gym. I generally don't drink before or during either of those. shopping. shopping. shopping. at a museum. at museum members happy hour. concerts - both classical and indie rock. talking about our feelings.
I really don't drink that much. I really probably do shop that much.
I think mindfulness is really important. I don't drink non-soluble caffeine. I think high fructose corn syrup is the worst thing in the entire world. Maybe not. Racism, privatized health care, plaid. Mentioning any of the above may result in yelling or crying.
