About Me
I'm somewhat of a tomboy. I dress like a girly-girl and I'm a little bit of a ditz sometimes, but I learned to play ice hockey when I was in grad school and I much prefer movies where things blow up to those that make me cry.
I'm always on the go. Whether it's work, family events or hanging out with friends, I very rarely have a day to just sit and be. And even if I did, I'm not sure what I would do with myself.
I'm pretty bad about keeping up with pop culture, because I've been so focused on school and work. I have never watched a full episode of American Idol and it was a few years into the Twilight phenomena that I even realized that people were talking about books in which vampires sparkled. I think this is all part of my charm.
I was in a graduate program for education, before deciding I didn't want to be a teacher and changing to a second bachelor's program in Information Systems. I'm kind of a flake like that. My dad has been telling to me to get a degree in science or technology since I was about 16 and at 26 I finally realized, he may be on to something. So I'm now getting a technology related degree and hopefully someday I'll get a job I may like out of it.
I enjoy going to sporting events (football, hockey and baseball are my personal favorites). I also enjoy being anywhere sunny. I hate the cold and I hate the rain and if I could actually find a job somewhere that was 80 and sunny all year long, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
I'm not sure what else people will want to know, but if there's something I missed, just ask.
