The glass is STILL half-full... ...so let's get out there and enjoy some life! I'm basically a positive, decent guy who's wrapping up a tough couple of years up by deciding to move on. I'm open-minded on the dating front, and although I hope to find a great long-term relationship eventually, I'm not going to try to thread that needle with every outing. I think "companionship" is the term I'm groping for. Um, sorry about "groping." Oh, sorry about "sorry." I've got two grown kids who are my pride and joy - both in college, one locally an one in Philly. I cherish my relationships with family and friends, and I enjoy a good frolic with the dog and a cuddle with the cat. Originally from Bethesda, I've reconnected with friends from high school and joined a band that plays gigs once in a while. I’m absolutely loving playing keyboards again... keeps my fingers from getting stiff! I also enjoy going out to hear other good bands in the DC/Baltimore area, especially blues/rock/reggae. I'm pretty active and enjoy running to stay in shape. Actually I'm a confirmed running fool - I love running local races, and I try to run two marathons per year. Also, I run regularly every Saturday with a downtown Baltimore charity group (thus my team name “Saturday Steve”). I love the outdoors, from long country drives to big runs in the heart of the city, and everything in between. I will jump at the opportunity to get out there and go. On the other hand, I'm also quite happy staying home in front of the fireplace, maybe watching a good movie or listening to some music. I don't drink but I'm completely comfortable with friends who do. I enjoy a good laugh, a good walk, and I appreciate a sense of intimacy and connectedness. I believe that life is an experience to be shared. I’m affectionate, loyal and open with my feelings. I would very much like to find someone to share that with!
