I'm well-adjusted with a healthy sense of both self-esteem and self-worth. Deep within my heart, and a major part of my core being, are forgiveness and benevolence. I focus on not allowing the past dictate who I am or who I will become. Not many of us can say our past has been ideal; we've all faced our fair share of ups and downs. It's how we react to these, in part, that determines who we become. I almost always choose to turn negatives in to positives. I desire a woman who doesn't dwell on the past or allow it to consume her. I don't hold grudges, am usually the first to apologize, and have always been a peacemaker. I'm loving, kind, empathetic, thoughtful, generous (often to a fault), and generally put others before myself. I desire a woman who has the capacity for both selflessness and forgiveness. Other character qualities I value highly include honesty, loyalty, trustworthiness, and respectfulness. Once broken, they take a concerted effort to rebuild. I value open communication and know it's always key in any successful relationship. I desire a woman who's willing to and capable of lovingly sharing her innermost thoughts and feelings. My true nature is to be happy, positive, and upbeat. I've been told, at times, that I'm too cheerful and smile too much. Imagine that! Can a person actually be too happy? Don't get me wrong; I definitely have my moments, but don't we all? I try to see the glass as half-full and find pessimism to be quite a turn-off.
