About Me
I am so different now. Towards the end of a wonderful career in pediatrics, I am content. I work in an enlightened environment, where the bosses put the welfare of children and families above everything else. (I tear up just writing that last sentence, because compassion and empathy have not been as important as money to the bosses in my past.) I feel so lucky to have landed at Children's Hospital. It was a surprise when my wife of 40 years up and died in a month from too much cancer 16 months ago. I have a 23 year old daughter who is amazing, independent, and has one more semester of college to go.
