About Me

About me..I'm me. Sense of humor, sensitive, positive, caring (too much?) and friendly. But i don't think that is enough content for jdate..so let me try and add on. No one thinks that they will end up online dating in their 40's, but sometimes it just happens that way. And while I'm here, I swear to make the best of it. More about me? I love to laugh -often at myself- and love a good audience. That said, some of that humor comes in the form of wit and sarcasm so the person I'm with should be able to keep up. I have a lot of energy and enthusiasm for whatever situation I'm in....whether on the passport line at the post office (is there any other job description you know that reads "must provide half the information and move at the speed of a tree sloth) being trampled at Fairway before Break Fast (still having nightmares), or sitting in the middle seat of a redeye (horrific), i will tend to make the best of it. (OK, I'm lying about the redeye..there was NO WAY I could make any joy come out of that seat). I have 2 amazing daughters ages 12 and 7 who amaze me every day. it's nice to be known as a fun mom...which I am. Most weekends with them are spent doing any number of activities...explori ng new lands south of Union Square (new to THEM) or getting ripped off by an extortionist craft store on the Upper West Side..we always manage to laugh a lot. On weekends when i'm not with my girls, I may be out with girlfriends in the city or frankly, enjoying the great wind down from a long week. My job keeps me busy and fulfilled professionally as a Sales Trainer at an internet company. But it doesn't define me..it just ensures my independence. My parents, siblings and their families are a big part of my life. As the fourth of four children, I feel fortunate to enjoy many celebrations with them and when we're together, we make our own brand of fun. They are and will continue to be an important part of my life. Travel is my passion, and while my trips of late have been limited to the Caribbean, I can't wait to dip my toe back into more exotic locations. Lots on the bucket list to do...and I do hope this time around to do it with someone for the long haul. Oh..one final thing...i do count myself as one of a pool of Barry Manilow fans.don't worry, I assure you, it's not contagious.
