About Me

Hello. So this is a strange thing to go through. But I guess we're all in the same boat, so here I go: I think I'm a fun guy. Super fun, in fact. But not in a forced "woo hoo, look at what a show I'm making of of how much fun I'm having" kind of way. I'm nice too, but not in a lame "man, that guy was way too nice, I bet he has mother issues" kind of way. I'm a news junkie, and I read a lot -- but mostly so I can steal clever things to say. I play in a band, but not very often -- and it's not the sort of band you'd brag to your friends about. I like dogs, but I don't have one. I like to chat, which is way different from liking to talk. I'm a social creature, and I am very close to my friends. I play a lot of sports -- many of them poorly. I am fiercely loyal, and value that quality in others. I recently had a career change from journalism to public relations, and that seems to be going well -- I certainly get more free stuff now. I still do a lot of freelance food writing, so I would like to meet someone with an adventurous palate. I try to find the humor in most things. I'm not shy or afraid to take a risk. I'm a little goofy, as you've probably already gleaned from my bio.   I have a chaotic schedule: a full-time job, a part-time job (freelance writing),I run a music-based charity in Fort Worth, and I'm taking a graduate class. Time is precious to me.   I'd like to meet a woman with a good sense of humor -- preferably dry, or at the very least tolerant of the occasional pun. I would prefer someone who is reasonably laid back, as I'm pretty easy to get along with. Ideally, I would like to meet someone whose mind is open to new experiences. An appreciation of art and music would be a plus. If you're not in the DFW area, I'm not really interested. Also, no call girls or anyone who will drug me and try to harvest my organs.
