About Me
I’m a bit of an intellectual with a quirky sense of humor. When I go to work (a regular occurrence much to my chagrin) I am a critical care nurse. Actually, I love my job. Nursing is tikkun olam and so not a waste of my time. In my spare time I write fiction—short stories and novels. Spirituality is very important to me. My Siddur gets cracked at least once a day and there’s wax on my Shabbat candle holders but I’m not by any stretch consistently observant (there’s a story there but you have to get to know me before you can find out). I also do a little Zen meditation, etc. Eclectic is my middle name (a lie, but there you have it). I don’t like big crowds and my idea of drinking involves half a glass of wine at a sitting. Yeah…what else…oh! I’m hopelessly committed to monogamy, fidelity, and relationships in which passive-aggression is completely absent. Tenderness and respect are good. Taking responsibility for another’s behavior and needs is bad.
