About Me
I was born and raised on Long Island (Suffolk, south shore girl), and moved to Astoria about five years ago. Love it here, but I still do get pretty homesick and make sure to head back to visit my parents and my brother every couple of weeks.
For as much as I love and can appreciate the beauty and the wonder and the awesomeness of things, I have an intense love for all things cheesy and bad in the world of entertainment. I think trashy TV is hysterical and awesome, bad movies are my life, and crappy books can be some of the most awesome things ever. Case in point - the last Twilight book is one of the best comedy books of all time. I feel like in order to really love and appreciate true art in all forms, you need to have a steadfast appreciation for the crap. :)
I can be a mix of a homebody and a sociable girl. I have my nights where I need to go home, put my pajamas on and watch TV, and I have my nights where I want to go out and just be around people. I've never been much for the club scene, but I love going out to comedy shows, going to see live music, going to a Broadway show, going to a museum...just something that gets me out there.
