Now in Cambridge after 25 years in NYC and a 10-year detour in the Midwest. Smart, creative, curious, funny, adventurous, affectionate, and kind -- just like you. Boundless energy that keeps me looking and feeling young. I am irreverent and somewhat eccentric, just enough to make life interesting. I like cooking, books, travel, jazz and opera, yoga and working out, fly fishing, and baseball. I do the New York Times crossword and acrostic the old-fashioned way, in red ink. I wear hats and write personal notes with fountain pens and good inks. My interests run the gamut, from the off-beat to high-tech.
I am comfortable talking to anyone, anywhere. Others write about going from jeans to LBDs/tuxes. Me, I go from well-worn (real) cowboy boots to a collection of well-preserved (and often second-hand) classics from the days when good was good, and we actually dressed for opera at the Met. (I still like to.)
As much as I like completing assignments successfully, I like volunteering and making a difference in the lives of others even more, including week-long Habitat builds every year in post-Katrina New Orleans. That kind of giving is nourishment for me.
I am reinventing myself again and that means I could end up anywhere -- even near you, as long as there is a good airport. The airport is so I can get to my parents -- 96 (a Holocaust survivor) and 92 -- quickly. I am fortunate to still have them.
Friends have suggested I mention that "separated" means living in different states and in the process of a non-acrimonious divorce with no chance of reconciliation. And yes, I am really 63 -- with no "work" done, all original equipment. I am petite and very fit, so there should be no surprises (except pleasant ones) if we meet.
Sorry, I don't respond to "flirts" since I hope you have something original to say.
