About Me
I’m generally happy with life and think a good sense of humor is key to that. It makes good things better and bad things easier to deal with. I was raised to believe that that the most important quality is just simply to be a good person. I always try to live up to that and look for it in others. I also have an interest in learning and a love of Judaism.
I consider myself lucky to have a job I look forward to going to each day. I’m an elementary school teacher and can’t think of anything I’d rather be doing. Having a sense of humor and being easy going and patient go a long way in the classroom. I love every day in the classroom with my students and I also like that having the summers off gives me the chance to travel, to spend time with family, and to explore professional and other interests.
After a busy week at school, I enjoy the quiet, relaxing nature of Shabbat. It gives me the chance to catch up with friends and a good book. I try to make it to services on most Shabbats. I like feeling part of a Jewish community and value the spiritual connection.
