About Me
I’m looking forward to the next chapter in my life. A very energetic and down-to-earth person, I have been fortunate in so many ways...two wonderful (and now grown) children, great family and friends, and a career that I love. By nature, I’m positive and optimistic, and believe in living every day to its fullest. I love stimulating conversation, a good laugh, doing and learning new things, fine wine, strong coffee, working out, long walks, and the beach with a good book. I like to cook (when I have the time), but enjoy dining out, especially after a long week. My two kids are my proudest accomplishments. My daughter is a sophomore in college, and my son is a mechanical and aerospace engineer in Boston. They are two of the finest and most interesting people I know, and we have a wonderful relationship. Originally from NJ, I came to Washington to be a White House intern back in the days when presidents just lusted in their hearts (!), and 30-plus years later, I still love this city. Now that I am an empty nester, I look forward to having more time for travel and meeting a new person to share and enjoy life.
