About Me
When I was about 17-years-old, I was given a keychain with my initials engraved on it. I looked at this simple keychain over and over, thinking only one thing: I am going to ask my parents to allow me to switch my middle name from Ian to Ean, just so my initials would look like this: J.E.W. I never did it - not because I thought it would lose its humor 5-10 years down the line, but it felt wrong changing the name my parents gave me.
I put this story on my profile largely because JDate suggested I talk about keeping kosher in the kitchen or my career as an archaeologist, and, unfortunately, I don't believe those topics will find me a match, I eat bacon and I'm a Journalist.
While I tend to lead with sarcasm and humor, I am serious when I need to be and hope people find me to kind, generous and level-headed at all times. I am here to find my best friend, someone to share new experiences, laughs, great food and great wine (or vodka) with and enjoy all that is out there - in this amazing city and beyond.
