About Me

All about me in 3000 characters or less: I'm not perfect, but I do not think I'm alone. Growing every day is part of what makes life interesting. I'm close to my family and friends. I like to travel (but who would say that they don't). My hobbies include but are not limited to: hiking (with small brown dog), taking pictures, a little painting (pictures and work with standard latex on standard wall), a little gardening, sight seeing, reading, writing, and arithmetic (just wanted to see if you were paying attention). I'm looking for a friendship that can grow into a partnership. For any chemistry enthusiasts out there: I believe a relationship is more than the sum of its parts. For me relationships evolve and grow over time. It starts with two people who have similar interests and eventually grows into a commitment to a life together. I would like to share some of the following with someone: hiking, traveling, plays, movies, some dining out, and just hanging out at home gently squeezing the dog. (If you do not already have a dog, one will be provided for you.) I'd like to find someone who enjoys the outdoors (ie nature hikes, small and large fuzzy creatures, but doesn't kill his own dinner) Qualities that I find important in a relationship: communication, willingness to share (food and feelings), sense of humor (make each other laugh...not necessarily the entire world), commitment, willingness to work through the rough spots, as there are bumps down every road. My dog is looking for someone who either knows how to play fetch or who is willing to learn. My cat is looking for someone who can provide a good lap. As one of my professors used to start every class: "Questions, comments, complaints?" If so, drop me an email.
