About Me
I am a wearer of many hats, usually several at once (if you've ever read the kid's book "Caps for Sale," it kind of looks like that sometimes, but I like to think a little more stylish...) I am passionate about family, and I interpret that term broadly. I am a loyal friend, and am blessed to have friends who are equally loyal and loving – many dating back to early childhood. I like for my home to be a “hub” for people to share time, food and inspiration (or a bowl of popcorn and a movie). I love teaching, learning, traveling, dancing and singing, and finding the sacred in the everyday, alone and in company. I am an avid knitter, singer, baker, reader and writer. I have lost count of the number of loaves of challah I’ve baked and the the socks and scarves I’ve knitted for dear ones, but I published my first piece of writing (and hopefully not my last) a while back.
