I have a reasonably high profile where I live and work and, for that reason, I have not posted pix on the site until now. Also, I hate to have my picture taken... That said, the first pic is from 2002, the second from 2006, and the third from December of 2011, so you can see I haven't changed much in 10 years. Kindly judge me more by what you find written below: Likes: The arts, road trips, language (including bad puns and spirited conversation), my work, learning new things, travel, political activism, dogs, global cuisine, dancing, singing, hiking (with my dog), football, thunderstorms, dark chocolate, NPR, comfy chairs. Current TV guilty pleasures (when I get a chance to watch): "Suits," "The Good Wife," "NCIS," "Blue Bloods." No guilt at all watching "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report." Dislikes: Airport security measures, anchovies, entrenched stupidity, uncomfortable shoes, wars, an unearned sense of entitlement, hate mongering. Music: Yeah, pretty much everything except stuff that yells at me, like the eardrum-rending bass from the car next to me. Classical--mostly the Russians (Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Rachmaninoff), the French (Debussy, Ravel), but enjoy many composers. Popular--I love that old fashioned rock and roll that kind of music just soothes your soul. Also 60's folk, most blues, soul, "world music." Faves: Aretha, Bruce, Bonnie, Delbert, Stones, Lyle, ZZ Top and more. Also like some jazz, but I need to learn more. I sling beer at Bonnaroo for charity too! Please do not answer me on this site if you are not Jewish. I appreciate that you are interested in meeting a Jewish woman, but I'm not into being converted to another religion, nor into taking on a project of converting someone of another faith to Judaism.
