Once every few months there is a moment that you have been putting off way too long, but there is no escape and you are just going to have to do it. It is time to update your profile, specifically the "about me" section that can take as much time as writing a college paper.
You know, I am subscribed to JDade for a while now and every month I face the question: to keep the account or not to keep the account. Another hardly earned $40 that could've easily filled up my gas tank are donated to the singles pool.
For the Jewish brains out there who are doing some quick math and wonder why don't I buy a package and save valuable $$? The answer is that I am slow to commit... but that's a different topic.. hey, who knows, maybe next year i'll be finally ready to purchase my first three months package!
I think that the biggest problem with many online daters (myself included) is that we don't actively seek to date, we want to date, or at least we say we do, but our lives are just too busy. So, in order to keep mom happy and kid ourselves that we actually do something about it, we open one or two online dating accounts and Poof! problem solved, and free of guilt we can continue to invest even more time doing the same things that brought us here to begin with.
I know I am over generalizing and many of you do put the time and effort it takes to date and develop relationships, online or not. Here's to you! you are the ones who end up finding what they are here for. Your story is my $40.
This intro turned out to be longer then I had in mind, but reintroducing myself is frustrating and boring..
With that being said, I can proudly say I have survived my 3rd profile update!
Almost forgot... I am a full time student and private fitness coach. Powerlifting is the sport I practice to keep myself strong and fit, I love to read, I cook %95 of the food I eat and my family and friends are my greatest gift :)
