About Me
I'm a Ph.D. candidate in biophysics/neuroscie nce, but my real passion in life is music (playing, composing, listening, and discussing)--a musician trapped in a scientist's body, you could say. When I'm not in lab or at the piano, I love hanging with small groups of friends (big board game/trivia fan), having intellectual chats or musing about life over tea, or being outdoors on my bike, in the water, or traveling somewhere I haven't yet been. I'm also a sucker for animals, and I keep quite a few for pets! Although not as religiously observant as I was as a kid, I'm proud of my Jewish heritage and try to stay informed about issues affecting our community. An ambitious, introspective guy, I also love to laugh and (try to) make others laugh, and I'm incredibly devoted to those I care about. I love to talk but am practiced at listening. Shared interests are nice, but above all, I'm looking for someone who's curious about the world around her and has a kind soul.
