Howdy maam, thanks for stopping by my spread. I am a very bright, positive, playful, irreverent, frugal, casual, creative, Bohemian, brainy, unconventional, unpretentious, imaginative, sensitive, considerate, highly efficient, thoroughly defective, left-handed father of three, life-long student, heretic and bricolage master. I have a fairly outrageous and absurd sense of humor - mockery of a travesty - think Carlin meets Gandhi at Carl Sagan's. I feel my ad paints a fair picture of me, but a person hears what day wants to hear and day disregards da rest. With that in mind, I want you to know I spent most of kindergarten and 1st grade out in the hall. In 2nd grade, I fell hopelessly in love with my teacher, Miss White, and was finally tamed enough to stay most of the time amongst my classmates. Yes, at a very early age, I lived the Beauty and the Beast saga! What sort of child were you? I am essentially interested in mutual enrichment, playful and scintillating conversation with a bright, curious, educated, charming, clear headed, easy going, playful, articulate, informed person, who shares some of my interests and does not take themselves too seriously. Ideally, I enjoy a person who has interests, a bit of depth, a lively, fresh, even salty, personality, and is growing, learning, has intellectual curiosity, reads the newspaper, and is capable of critical thinking. With the kids gone and raised I think a couple should try to do something, or create something together. Many travel, which brings new fodder and people for stimulating conversation. I'd like to enjoin with a lady who perhaps has a business or interesting hobbies or wants to partner in flipping a house or do some traveling. Keep it fresh and fun, going and growing, thinking and deciding, being mentally engaged. Don't want to be kept or trapped in a tedious loop of the opposite of what I've described. I’d like to find a semi-retired person with the wherewithal to roam or go houseboating. 4 star travel lacks the challenges and required ingenuity to mildly rough it............Then again a big-haired, Rubenesque brunette is also always a delight. I used to flip houses so am fairly handy with remodeling and like to build and repair computers. My primary recreation is jet skiing, fishing, swimming, cooking, listening to music, and photography upon my mini-house boat moored at Shasta Lake. Pack a bag and a cooler, drive 3 hours to instant lakefront property in a quiet cove, overnighting in the woodland mountains with the chirping crickets under the moon and stars. I also enjoy walking, bowling, primary colors, translucent lingerie, kissing, classical, raucous blues, Sinatra, and oldies music, duplicate or social Bridge, Xwords, Sudoku, reading, sitcoms, Michael Moore, sci-fi or action movies, the Daily Show, Dr. Dean Edell, and Thom Hartmann on the radio, History, Discovery, Travel, Channels, Nat-Geo and PBS. I hope to learn to fly or glide and like to travel or cruise to most any area one may interact with the water, not merely stare at it. I like people but am a bit of a home-body and lone wolf. I strive to see the big picture, keep things in perspective, and not take life or myself too seriously. I cry at weddings, and when babies are born. I avoid crowds, lines, most activities one can't wear shorts, formal occasions, funerals, republicans, fearful primitive conservatives, Fox News-oy vey!, dullards, strait-laced squares, narcissists, skinny women, most dancing and religious zealots. Physically, I am handsome, with salt and pepper hair and moustache, hazel eyes, 5'10" tall, very full figured, a plumper, but working on it with daily walks, biking and lap swimming. Fit and fat! How's that?
