I am blessed with a terrific life! I'ma speech pathologist who works with people that are profoundly impaired by autism. In my office, we frequently celebrate the success of goals other people may take for granted.

I became an aunt in October and fell madly in love with my nephew! He lives in Connecticut so I try to get there as often as I can. Traveling for me consists mostly of domestic trips, as my brother lives in northern California, my dad in Florida (following the 11th commandment, "Thou shalt retire in Boca"), and countless friends spread out across the country.
I have the best dog in the world (and he's no little yippie dog - he's black and 61 pounds of fierce snuggling) if only I could train him to stop shedding.
I would participate in anything outdoors at any time of the year. I've run 4 marathons and have been skiing for the past 3 seasons. Not even a little ACL reconstruction has slowed me down!
