I've re-written my profile! No, I haven't magically transformed. But here's a better description now that I've had time to get used to this:)
I'm a voracious reader the kind that will read the entire cereal box at the breakfast table if that's the only option. It's a compulsion. But I learned long ago to pass on a book if I don't like it after the first chapter or so.
Yoga is my preferred exercise/practice although I have dabbled in other things from belly-dancing to weight lifting. I like to try new things but I keep coming back to the calm, centered-ness of yoga and love the fact that you can practice it anywhere. I enjoy being in nature for the same reason: it's calming and centering and constant.
I have a very curious nature and really enjoy finding out what people think and why. So I'm a good listener. I have very passionate views about a few things (parenting, education, food) and am pretty cool about most other stuff like politics and sports.
I love all things culture (plays, musicals, symphonies, festivals) and experiencing different cultures.
I'm converting to Judaism because it feels like my spiritual home although none of my family is Jewish. I've been celebrating Shabbat for about 2 1/2 yrs and have recently started attending Erev Shabbat services.
I'm a pretty spot-on Libra, if you believe in that sort of thing, and my color compatability is actually quite accurate!
