Time to find new friends and maybe a partner. It's a scary proposition, opening yourself to the world of on-line dating, but time only gets shorter. I am a 55 year old divorced mother of two, one grown, the other will be off to college next year. I love to travel, dance, read, see friends and dream of being an archeologist in Israel. OK, maybe that last one isn't going to happen, but people can dream. My hopes are high for J-Date. I was raised in the Reform movement in Albuquerque, New Mexico where I was often the only Jew in my class and had one Jewish boyfriend growing up.
