My mom was Kosher-Jewish and a Social Anthropoligist; her dedication to change in the world and to God outweighed her dedication to anything else. I was raised in a non-denominational church with a Catholic father and rarely had contact with my mom, although she did her best to make sure I was at least exposed to Judaism. I have studied all angles of Judaism and Christianity and am interested, at this point, in learning more about Judaism. I'm a believer in Christ, but also acknowledge that He was Jewish, was raised Jewish and acknowledged & lived by Jewish tradition and law. I find that Judaism is full of tradition and have known many people who have incredible understandings of Judaism and Christ. What I really want to know is someone who accepts God in their lives and has an understanding of existence beyond themselves and this world.
