I’m a smart, energetic, woman who values companionship, laughter, respect and good fun. At times I am playful and challenging and at other times I am happy having a peaceful evening of cuddling and a movie….with that movie being a new release, classic or alternative. I love playing tennis, long brisk walks, dogs, espresso, most sports, museums, dining out, jazz and classical music. . A fun week-end night could be inviting friends over for dinner and wine ...debating the issues of the day and then playing cards or poker—heavy penny betting and lots of laughter.
I am divorced and have two amazing, grown daughters, one who lives in NYC and the other in Boston. They are the joy of my life.
I like to cook, though cooking with a partner would be fun. I’m not at all handy and greatly admire people who are. I work hard and am fully engaged with my job. For relaxation I play the piano and need to find time to do it more. I like comfort and stability but I also like to go places and do things… I am patient and a very, very good listener.
Thunderstorms don’t scare me, great novels inspire me and tennis brings out the competitiveness in me….though I can leave it in the locker room. I think it would be fun to have a partner to learn ballroom dancing with.
I’m looking for a friend, companion and life partner… a man who is intelligent, funny and responsible; someone who likes to play but can keep it real; who introduces me to new things, who can get lost in conversation, loves to laugh, who will surprise me now and then, who will tell me if I’m wrong and expect me to do the same, someone who can eventually trust me enough to share his innermost fears and desires and be open to me doing the same; someone to share the pleasures of life together.
Very important to me is someone who is willing to go the distance….by that I mean the geographical distance. For some men it’s a deal breaker if we live more than 20 miles apart. If the relationship is right the distance won’t matter (within reason, of course).
It’s time for me to get back into the game. How about you?
