I'm an active, energetic, optimistic person with a wide range of interests. I love the outdoors, culture, ideas, conversation, languages, dogs and music. Now if I could just teach my dogs to sing ...
I think I qualify as an interesting person. If you read the New Yorker, New York Review of Books, the NYT, or the Economist, there's a lot we can talk about.
My favorite recent film is American Hustle, although The Great Beauty wasn't bad. Loved No Country and Eternal Sunshine.
OK, music. I love Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Recently I've been listening to Arcade Fire. I have a deep affection for Bach, Shostakovich, Bluegrass, Beethoven late quartets, and Afro-Cuban jazz.
I'm working on my French language skills. I'd like to learn to dance salsa, but I need a partner.
Professionally I do financial economics for a bank. I love what I do.
I'm very close to my two sons, who're away at college most of the time. My divorce should be final by the end of April. Costly but amicable.
So, I'm financially stable, emotionally available, interesting, well-preserved. Not bad looking, if I may say so. And perhaps most important of all, sometimes even funny.
