I am a passionate, family-oriented, athletic woman who is politically active and intellectually curious. I had a wonderful career as a NYC HS Spanish teacher and am now enjoying retirement while fulfilling my dreams at the same time.
I enjoy life but also give back to my community by doing volunteer work. I am an advocate of civil rights, human rights, gay rights and women's reproductive rights. I worked on President Obama's campaign and was honored to be elected an Obama-pledged delegate to the 2008 convention when I lived in Charleston, SC.
I live in Manhattan and love the theatre, museums, thought-provoking film, bike riding along the Hudson, Zumba at Alvin Ailey, skiing, sailing, tennis and travel. I love to laugh and enjoy interesting conversation.
I have two wonderful sons, a terrific daughter-in-law and 2 beautiful granddaughters. Family is very important to me.
