About Me

My friends describe me as the fun, outgoing one in the group! As a result of my life experience, I am well aware that we don't know what tomorrow will bring. That is why I always try to make the most of today. My goal is to start each day with a smile. Focus on the positive.....there is not enough time to waste a minute of it on negative or "toxic" relationships. I am a self confident, independent woman......extremely loyal to those close to me. I have wonderful friends that I love and are always there for me .While I'm usually very busy with them, I miss having a special someone who I can spoil. (My daughter is spoiled enough already) I enjoy being "on the go", but can be equally happy cuddling on the couch with a glass of wine. Usually I am "dressed" and accessorized ....was never really the sweats & sneakers girl - not even in college......however , that doesn't mean I don't know how to be comfortable and relax - I just do it with style! I care about the way I look, whether it's in formal wear and heels or shorts and flip flops. Love to travel to far away places, but can have fun at the local flea market. I have always been a Jersey Girl......love the beach, especially late in the day. Ahhh, the martini at sunset! (and I'll take that on any shore.....or even the deck of a ship) As my daughter goes off to college this fall, we decided that it's Mom's turn to look for love again! So, here I am on this silly site trying to figure out how to balance my expectations with reality. I am an open, honest person and want that in return. The companion I seek will also appreciate the importance of life - friends and family - he will be honest, affectionate, caring, and outgoing. He will be confident, but not arrogant. Oh yeah, he'll love to make me smile!!
