Hello, there are a lot of things that I do well. Marketing myself is not one of them.
If you were to talk to people who know me, I think that you would hear that I'm a nice person or a mensch, thoughtful, caring, and all of that other stuff. I have a positive attitude, and usually can find the positive in my surroundings and the people I meet.
I enjoy entertaining, but could do it more. Tend to be spontaneous and am not the best planner when it comes to my social life. That is why I subscribe to both Center Stage and Everyman Theatre. If I didn't subscribe, I would never get around to seeing any shows, and I do enjoy going to the theatre.
I started going to synagogue when my father died to say kaddish when I was 25, and found out that I really enjoyed it. I've been a member of Beth Am Synagogue for a number of years and enjoy the service, the music, participating, and the connections that I've made with other members of the congregation. Part of the experience is spending time with my Beth Am family. It is a special group of people.
I've been working with a number of the same people for a long time as well, and enjoy the connections that I've made and the work that I do.
Then, I enjoy volunteering my time. Over the years, I've participated in activities through the Associated, Jewish Big Brother and Big Sister League, American Heart Association, Beth AM, etc, etc.
Finally, I enjoy working with my hands. I sew, knit, crochet, quilt, paint, garden, and what not. Most recently, I've been combining some of these things and crocheting and knitting with beads for necklaces, pendants, and bags. I have an inventory and so am slowly marketing some of my stuff. Don't do as much as I would like to.
So, this should give you some idea about who I am.
