I love to be outdoors hiking, bicycling, running, swimming, and tennis are some of my favorite things to do. I enjoy cooking, and trying out new restaurants with a cultural flair. I like to have a sense of style: trendy or sophistocated, or just very plain and sporty and am generally high energy, happy, and love to laugh. I am looking for a special man who has an warm, open personality, enjoys being with family and friends, has a bachelors degree or higher, is able to go without his material things: phone, tv, special cookware, special sports teams, etc., loves the outdoors, is grounded, stable, sensible and able to laugh and joke, and might bring me flowers on my birthday. Honesty would be the number one characteristic I am seeking. I grew up in Marin and Dana Point on the West coast in the suburbs and love the country, and sometimes I like the city. I was a biology and foods and nutrition major by choice, and became a business major out of neccessity. I have traveled, speak Spanish primarily as a second language, enjoy the cultural diversity and acceptance of metrepolitan areas, love healthful food, enjoy art, music, reading, people watching, the ocean, etc. Music I enjoy listening to: light rock, 70's rock, Latina vocalists, jazz, big band, country, classic - did I leave anything out ? Movies I have most enjoyed: anything that features the outdoors and nature as a backdrop: A River Runs Through It, Legends of the Fall, The Last of the Mohicans, Blue Crush, The Black Stallion, No Country for Old Men, others. Books: Lonesome Dove, Peony in Love, Odes to Pablo Neruda, Palace Walk, Sugar Street, Remberance of Things Past, The Brothers Karamazov, The Prophet, Cuentos Completos, The Color Purple. I am looking for an equal match in chemistry, values and emotional maturity. Companionship, friendship, respect, common love of exercise, laughter, family, healthful lifestyle.
