About Me
I’m a pre-med student at Princeton, and just returned from a semester abroad in Italy. Venice blew me away with its scenic views from every bridge (I have a weakness for water - ocean, rivers, lakes, anything!), and I loved getting to speak Italian after studying it for so long. By the way, feel free to practice your French or Italian on me if we ever meet! As soon as we arrived in Italy, my friend and I started searching for a place to take dance lessons, and we tried practically every dance place in the city (from one in a creepy attic, to one with an average age of 70!), before finally finding a fun salsa place where we would dance every Thursday night. I’ve always enjoyed dancing, but I didn’t fall in love with it until I joined the ballroom team at Princeton. Tango, cha-cha, samba, I love them all! I still love unstructured dancing though, and I have to actively prevent myself from breaking into dance anytime a song with a good beat comes. You definitely DO NOT have to dance to date me, though it’s certainly a plus :D
What else about me? I’m vegetarian, though not the kind that tries to convert anyone (feel free to order steak if we go out to dinner, I really don’t mind!). I’m very easy-going, and I love trying new things. I’m a glass-half-full kind of person and will just start laughing if things start going wrong (just ask me about my trip to Bologna). I love to laugh, and I’m a very loyal friend. Though I’ve hardly had any time for it lately, I’m also a closet artist. I love everything from painting to ceramics to pop-up-book-making. My most recent projects include the scrapbook I made for my brother’s bar mitzvah, a 6-foot-tall ceramic tree growing through my bookcase, and a 4-foot-wide pop-up book. Honestly, if I could save lives and support myself by doing art, it would be a tough call between becoming a doctor or an artist. Medicine fascinates me though, so art will always remain a hobby. Anyhow, I’ve never done this before, but hopefully this gives you some sense of what I’m like. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
