About Me

Simply put, I like seeing all the possibilities in something and make things happen rather than be caught up in all the reasons why it can't be done. I am a designer both professionally and in life. I love being creative in every facet of my life and love to share the process. I'm open minded and approachable. I respond better to "YES IF" instead of "NO BECAUSE". I'm the type that sees that glass as half full instead of half empty as cliché as it may sound. I don't take myself too seriously and can often laugh at myself. Believe me, I often have to! My passions are: COOKING and I am very serious about having fun with it. Expressing myself creatively in my kitchen challenges me and allows me to share something special with others I care about. SPORTS, and I am more of the participant rather than a spectator. I love to watch many types of sports when there's an opportunity, yet I love to get out there and experience it for myself. I've competed at the US Team level in both cycling and cross country skiing. Other sports I love are Yoga, cardio conditioning, weight training, Golf, Roller Blading, Hiking (especially within our mountains) and any sport my 3 boys feel like playing with me. I passionately suck at basketball, yet if my boys want me to play it with them… I'm in! ART AND DESIGN, its clearly one of the things that define me. WOODWORKING, It is one of the ways I get to work with my hands and create something useful. Also, the result lasts much longer than anything I cook! Lastly my family and mostly my 3 young boys who share their life with me and let me share mine in return. They are indeed the best things I ever helped create.
