About Me

I like the human being that life and circumstances have made me. I believe I am a very kind person, nurturing and compassionate, family oriented, spiritual, self-motivated, will not give up on achieving a goal, hard-working, loyal, accepting and responsible. I like to stay fit (have to admit my staying thin has more to do with working too many hours and not taking time to eat rather than actually using my gym membership). I am not an argumentative person, really do not like conflict. I am not so set in my ways that I cannot reinvent my beliefs when I hear the truth. I believe that saying you are sorry to end an argument (even when you know you are right) shows strength of character and confidence in yourself. It's great to be of an age when the hangups and insecurities of youth are behind you and you are totally comfortable with who you have become. I can eat by myself in a restaurant and be perfectly comfortable doing it. I am as comfortable in a crowd of thousands as I am being alone. I am not demanding, believe even the strongest couple needs personal space. I am politically fluid without being wishy-washy. I have strong opinions on some issues but am open to admitting I was wrong on others. I can escape in long historical novels and be transported by classical music. My music likes go from classical to country and most everything in between, but Sirius 60's on 6 is what is mostly playing in my car. A great de-stressor for me is curling up in a chair at Barnes and Noble with a stack of magazines and an ice cold mocha frappucinno. I'm easy to get to know, honest to a fault, pretty much who you see is who you get.
