Generally low-key and upbeat. I've been called a Pollyanna, which I didn't understand at first but I suppose fits. Can be reserved until I get to know you. Then, I'm a pretty funny guy and somewhat outgoing. I've been told - and I like to think it's true - that I'm unusually kind and nice. I know I try to be. People are surprised I'm a lobbyist, because I'm not much of a back-slapper. I am new at this dating thing, just separated in the past year with divorce proceeding. My teenage daughters, who I have every other week, will always be important to me. Love hiking and lake-front vacations/weekends. Very much a museum/art gallery/theater/movi es/music/small-town exploring kind of guy. After all these years, I'm still comfortable in jeans and a flannel shirt and doing the things you do in jeans and a flannel shirt. And, of course, after all these years at work, still comfortable in a suit and tie and doing the things where they are required. Not preppie.
