About Me

I have many interests like museums, theatre, dancing, hiking, reading, and personal health - and fortunately the health and the means to pursue these activities. Now retired and trying to give back through volunteering in public schools and community groups. My career was productive as a scientist-engineer-m anager in the Federal government (mostly) and industry and academia in diverse fields like energy, defense, and manufacturing. Just as you'd expect of a "techie", I'm usually analytical. Also: sometimes serious, sometimes humorous, and a "gardener" in many endeavors - including relationships - the blossoming of friendship and love is wonderful. I hope to find a partner to share life - because I think a life lived alone may be lived well but won't be lived fully. She has my zest for life - both as a participant and spectator - and will tolerate my liberal-leaning independent political views. We'll be friends - and more. We'll give each other a partner who is monogamous, 100% trustworthy and honest, consistently dependable-resourcef ul - considerate - fun-loving - and humorous, mentally and physically active, and maybe likes chocolate! I appreciate that good fortune has smiled on me with a meaningful, healthy, and relatively prosperous past and present - in work and play and friends and some family. I am optimistic for many tomorrows with personal growth, fun, and the opportunity to give back to society. It would be wonderful to find a woman who wants a partner and will be a partner on this journey.
