I have been away for so long as my life takes a "big" turn in a new direction. I have been 'called' to San Antonio to be of service to the homeless and disenfranchised of that beautiful city. Please come with me in spirit even if you cannot join me in person.
I am a compassionate, progressive, life-long learner and seeker of a higher level of consciousness. I look for the same or similar in a partner.
I find that solitude is very special, but it's also true that there are many things I'd like to share with a cherished, significant other.
Activities of current interest to me are meditation, gardening, walking, 'exerstriding', writing, reading, spiritual mentoring, retreat facilitation and culinary arts. I do truly enjoy cooking and I am a test cook for America's Test Kitchen.
I am also a progressive activist on the political front. I believe that health care is a right and not a privilege in all societies, but especially in one as wealthy as ours. I believe in corporate responsibility and in regulations that foster that principle.
My preference in a partner would be for a warm, caring, compassionate, liberal woman with a great sense of humor, a zest for life and an understanding that everything is exactly as it should be in any given moment.
I would be especially interested in meeting and building a relationship with someone who has a desire to explore a life overseas. It becomes more difficult with each passing day for me to be comfortable with the direction our country is choosing. I'd much prefer a place that is not a plutocracy and a society that sees peace as a solution rather than as a semantic (lip-service only) aspiration.
"Self-actualizing people must be what they can be." ~ Abraham Maslow
If you know about this quote and the term 'connector' in describing a person's relationship with the field of intention, then you already know a lot about me.
