i am 72 and enjoying life's journey. The glass is at least half full, always, and often filled with sweetness. Life is too short to worry about what was, other than to allow past experience to refine your navigational skills now. I converted to Judaism when I was 60 and it was the best decision of my life. I am twice-divorced but refuse to close the door on love. Happy as I am being by myself, I know that life can be better when shared. I enjoy classical music even though I play in a working bluegrass band. Love the Sunday Times, NPR, Bill Maher, The New Yorker, and Tavis Smiley. After years of extensive volunteering, I now have occasional stints with Carolina Ballet, which is my passion. I enjoy water aerobics several times a week and walks with my greyhound (I also have a cat). I miss smooching and snuggling but would much rather be alone than have negative energy in my life. Oh...G-d willing, I will celebrate 19 years of sobriety in November.
