I'm introspective but friendly, articulate, an animal lover, kind, and a thinker. I'm active and enjoy bicycling and walking/hiking outdoors, and in winter, cross country skiing or snowshoeing, as long as it's followed by a crackling fire or a good meal, and preferably both. I often have a book in hand, either fiction or nonfiction, and another on the nightstand. I'm on the quieter side, but really enjoy a good discussion, whether about current events, life in general, families, books, movies, ethical dilemmas, or whatever the topic du jour. I have a dog named Harold -- he came with his name and I couldn't have picked a better one (name and dog I guess that's two). I've been divorced three years and have one child. I was raised as a Conservative Jew, but now have more of a cultural and spiritual affiliation. My work, my family, and my friends are all important to me, along with laughter to keep things in perspective. If you contact me I guarantee you'll chuckle more than once.
