Drop me anywhere in the world and I'll make friends. I'm warm and calm, not easily rattled. I grew up in New York, but Boston's been my home for over ten years now. I'm intelligent, optimistic, and happy with where my life is. Friends say I'm sensitive, empathic, wise, witty, a good talker and a great listener. Of course, they're my friends, so they would say that. But you might, too. Community is important to me. I love to spend time laughing and having good conversation with friends at a nice restaurant, a coffee shop, a bar, at home, or in another country. (Like Thailand, where I spent October of 2010.) I also spent a year in Brazil doing volunteer work. Other places I have traveled to are Turkey, Europe, & St. John. Lately I have been thinking about my next trip. I love to joke around and be silly, but my heart beats for in-depth conversation. You'll find me catching a dharma talk at the Cambridge Insight Meditation Center, going to a play or checking out a comedian in Boston, grabbing a frozen yogurt at BerryLine, or drinking a caipirhina and chatting in Portuguese at Muqueca in Cambridge. I enjoy playing Racquetball at the gym and play a few times a week. In addition, I have recently discovered Tai Chi and Chigong both of which are supporting my meditation practice. I have been told I am very optimistic in a realistic kind of way. I am generally a very happy person and because I am very outgoing people have been know to comment about this. I hope you're happy too, and know that happiness grows when shared. You're kind and warm, sincere and funny. Maybe you make the world a better place. You find your work compelling. You're full of love and play, courage and wisdom.
As a couple, I see us joyful, energized, always in the middle of 87 interesting conversations, enjoying each other's idiosyncrasies and imperfections. We love our time together and appreciate our time apart. We do special things for each other just because.
