I'm someone who is sure about almost everything I want out of life, and then is proven wrong at least 50% of the time. Examples? I wanted to go to a small college, I ended up loving a college with 40,000 students. I always said I'd end up living in a different state then I grew up in, but here I am in Maryland (though I did live in Florida and Australia first). I for the first 28 years, I described myself as very much a Marylander, but have just moved into DC and am loving it!
Maybe looking back at this, I don't actually do such a great job of knowing what I like...but I *do* take risks, enjoy the experience, genuinely give everything a chance, and admit when I'm wrong. I'd have to say, I think those are pretty good qualities to have.
