About Me

I enjoy history, museums, movies, technology, board/card games, learning new things, traveling, the beach, spending as much time as possible with my two daughters. I am currently working on a Masters Degree in Cyber Security. I have a very diverse set of interests from art, theater, technology, movies, hiking, camping, and many more.   My love of theater has brought me into the performing arts and over the years I have been in dramatic shows, comedies and musicals. My favorite show to be in has been The Scarlet Pimpernel. I am most proud that I was able to play Li'l Abner in the self-titled musical. My proudest accomplishment in the arts has been learning to sing and dance on stage confidently.   Working on my home and friends homes, tearing apart walls, installing plumbing, electrical, and completely redoing a kitchen or bathroom from framing to drywall and painting is fun for me. I have torn out basements and installed walls, floors, electrical, etc. What can I say... I like to work with my hands. I am finishing up a half-bath bathroom install in my basement which I hope to be done in a few weeks.   Riding my motorcycle is fun and gives me the feeling of skiing during the warmer months. I haven't been on skis for a while but I am hoping that we have a very snowy winter. My favorite hiking in the area is Old Rag Mountain. It's a little long, but the view is spectacular. I enjoy camping and my favorite trip has been a six-day back-country hike in the Grand Canyon (South Rim) during Spring. Absolutely amazing and extremely challenging. Going from below freezing at the rim with two feet of snow that fell the night before to over 90 degrees at the bottom at Phantom Ranch. An amazing hiking experience.
