About Me
My parents tell me that I didn't talk much when I was really little, but that once I did start, I never stopped.
I was born and raised in Wichita, but college was in Berkeley. On a possibly-related note, I think girls look better in hoodies, Converse, and shades than in bling, strappy shoes, and makeup. Of course everyone looks better wearing less, but that's definitely unrelated.
I am into learning, especially from friends. I'm certainly not an all-business kind of guy, but if I can learn something from you, that's definitely promising. If you like to teach, that's a little +1 that goes over your head thru my eyes.
I tend to shoot for approachable. The greatest compliment I ever got was from a student in an anonymous course evaluation. S/he said I made the class "as not-awkward as possible." I know people sometimes kiss up instinctively, but I chose to feel touched.
