I care deeply about friends, politics, human rights, my cats, family, theater, books, good food, wine, poetry, interesting people, and exploration of people and places. . I have a Ph.D. in history, taught a bit, worked mostly in government. Divorced. No children of my own, but enjoy the children of my friends and their grandchildren. Enjoying my adult onset piano lessons. Surprisingly, find myself involved in many community activities, classes, theater, movies, concerts. A New Yorker by birth, I have lived in the heartland, and traveled a great deal during my government career. I enjoy laughing, talking in a real and open way, having private time, and exploring a common vision and values.
