About Me
I was born in Chicago, but lived most of my life in Israel. I am doing my PhD in Psychology at the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign, where I live. I mark myself ‘from Chicago’, because Champaign Urbana is relatively small and the options of meeting someone are quite limited. I do occasionally go to Chicago on weekends, and am hoping to meet someone special, who is worth the commute on a more regular basis.
Grad school does take up most of my time, but I enjoy: theatre (especially Broadway plays), movies (Woody Allen and foreign movies are my favorite), reading, listening to music, and good restaurants. I love traveling and wish I could do it more frequently.
I feel very privileged to do the research I do, and see myself in academia. Had I not chosen Psychology, I would have studied architecture. I don’t know why but I’m fascinated by buildings and floor plans (yes, I’m weird that way).
That is it in a nutshell. Feel free to contact me if you’re interested!
