I notice the details: how natural light is captured in a photograph, how two trains just crossed paths on the horizon, how food is plated at a restaurant, and how a beautiful shoe is constructed. I definitely am not lonely or bored. I just think it would be nice to have someone with whom I can share the details.
Here are mine.
I love life and believe it is an adventure, and if you keep your eyes, mind and heart open, the possibilities are endless. I have no idea what tomorrow may bring, but, at this time in my life, I find that exhilarating.
I believe that people are inherently kind and incredibly interesting. I rarely ever make a work or family decision, without first consulting the “team”. I have definite opinions, sure, but I am sometimes floored and often persuaded by a view point or concern I may have not previously considered.
I know that my friends, co-workers, and acquaintances, universally describe me as fun with a contagious energy, attitude, and smile. I am most proud to be described as “the real deal” and authenticity is key to who I am and to whom I am attracted.
My sense of humor and love of shared laughter are a big part of who I am and an important part of our family dynamic. I see the humor in so many things and am drawn to quick wit and a keen sense of humor in others. I certainly can and do laugh at myself and I really cannot be attracted to someone who can’t.
I am confident and comfortable at practically any social, philanthropic, and business affair, but I do not care to do this every night.
I believe a home should be filled with family, friends, music, and laughter. I love that the first home I have purchased by myself is one that my children adore so much that they have at times had photos of it as screensavers at college and that I feel fantastic every time I enter its doors.
I love to travel: Barcelona, Rome, Chicago, Park City, Vancouver, Jerusalem, and Napa Valley are certainly favorites. I can spend all day and night exploring the local sites, architecture, art, people, and food. The more spontaneous… the better. If that tree, cafe, bar, shop, or church looks interesting, that is where I want to stop and enjoy.
And you.....I am looking for an intelligent and passionate man who can teach me something new and share my love of family, laughter, art, and travel. I want someone who is kind, has a great sense of humor and a smile to match, with strong familial relationships and a loyal group of friends. I am not looking for someone who has the same exact interests and hobbies I do. We just have to be simpatico on the importance of friends and family, honesty, and how to treat people in general. And basically, I have to trust that I'll know it when I see it.
If you understand and appreciate the above and fall within the parameters of what I value in a relationship, I would love to hear from you. If not, I wish you all the best.
